Greetings !

It is time for battle reports. We had a fantasy battle tournament, where my Ogres were against High Elves and Warriors of Chaos. Each army was worth of 2600 points. The battles were so intense that it was hard to remember to photograph every move, so the battlereps are somewhat undetailed.

Howdy !

At last my biggest unit is almost done. Thirtyfive Dwarf Warriors with Thane Battle Standard Bearer. I tried to make them look like more common dwarves than elite. To complete the unit, I have to paint a filler. Here are some photos !

Hey !

Dwarves got their clothes painted. I decided to paint them grey, that the metal parts would stand out more. Leather parts, capes and wood parts remains to be painted.

Painting Dwarf warriors, update 1

I started to paint my horde of Dwarf warriors which also include the BSB Thane and two times two unit filler. The progress is slow but consistent. At the moment I have painted the skin and beards of the Dwarves. For a month I have been wondering, how will I paint these warriors to look less elite than the Hammerer unit ? Yesterday I made a decision and it will reveal itself when time comes :) ..Here is the first photo.
